 Staff and students were delighted to visit the premises of Atlantic Inertial Systems last Friday to present a new UCP Marjon branded Rugby shirt to the Managing Director Jim Chapman in recognition of their sponsorship deal.

The investment from AIS has been matched through the Sportsmatch fund totaling £20,000 and will help develop student sport and more specifically intra mural sport within the University College.

Jim Chapman, MD of AIS said:
“Atlantic Inertial Systems is delighted to be involved in this exciting initiative with UCP Marjon which will benefit not only our employees but the wider community too. With the award of SportsMatch funding there is now a significant investment of money available to UCP Marjon to help them achieve their objectives for both students and local sports related initiatives.

AIS is very committed to the health of our employees and I am looking forward to seeing the fitness and sports facilities which will shortly be available to our mutual benefit. We pride ourselves in being "The High Technology Company in Plymouth" and it is fantastic that this message will be displayed and recognised on the UCP Marjon sports kits as the students compete across the country.”
