Visit by Soran University to University College Plymouth St Mark and St John

University College Plymouth St Mark and St John welcomed a delegation from Soran University in Kurdistan on Tuesday 13 September.
The delegation included Dr. Mustafa Muslih Hamad, President of Soran University, Professor Kamal Kolo, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Nahro Zagros - Dean of Planning and Development of Scientific Research and Mr Shoker Abobeker – Director of Academic Relations and Assessment.
The visit was as a response to an invitation and visit to Soran University by the Principal Professor Margaret Noble in June to discuss possible collaborations.
Soran University are interested in working with University College Plymouth St Mark & St John to develop a number of projects, which would assist Soran University in a range of capacity building activities to support their staff and students.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two institutions and it is hoped that this will be the beginning of a long and productive collaborative partnership between the University College and Soran University.
