| Research Background: 12 years in youth and community work in the UK and abroad, moving from working with young people and mental health problems to specifically abuse and human rights, focusing eventually on domestic violence. Publications and conference papers in all these areas. |

| Research Interests: The thread pulling this together for me has been supervision and reflective practice, areas that I have come to focus on in my research in aspects of practice, youth and community contexts and higher education programmes. Alongside this I maintain my interest in human rights and domestic violence and the two join in relation to developing teaching materials around the wider context of social justice. |
