Mr Thomas Wiseman on a trip to Plymouth, called in for his first visit to the Plymouth Campus along with his nephew, Richard Clay.
Mr Thomas Wiseman with his nephew Richard Clay
Mr Wiseman attended the College of St Mark and St John in Chelsea from 1935 to 1938 and came wearing his college tie and scarf. During the visit we showed him a model of the Chelsea site which is situated on campus.
A retired headmaster of a mixed comprehensive school in Tiptree, Essex, Mr Wiseman entertained us with stories from the old days for a very enjoyable couple of hours.
A very moving moment was when we spent some time in front of the War Memorials, Mr Wiseman knew many of the people mentioned, and told us about them.
Mr Wiseman kindly answered questions over a cup of coffee to complete a profile for the website.
