Series Of Leading Edge Seminars For Business
Released: 09.03.09
In the current economic climate, businesses need to stay focused on how to sustain themselves in a volatile market. Many businesses are reducing overheads to minimise spending, ensuring that their operation remains as streamlined as possible to survive the recession.
In times of uncertainty, a recovery strategy is just as important. Ensuring, in the longer term, that your business has the ability to strengthen its place in the market and has the resources to grow as the economy recovers.
As a response to this, iSpace in collaboration with Clarity Projects Ltd will be launching a 6month series of seminars for business beginning on Tuesday 17th March 2009 with a “Leadership Challenge for Small Business Owners” The manager today is faced with conflicting priorities, constant change yet never wavering from the company’s targets, gaining the trust and respect of people yet maintaining authority to ensure day-to-day operations run effectively.
The session will focus on the finding the right balance between these competing issues. Supporting the small business manager in planning, communicating and achieving goals and targets successfully. Using motivational and inspirational techniques, delegates will learn how to build credibility, trust and commitment from their team that in turn will improve productivity.
"With big events such as the economic downturn, there are always opportunities and positive ones at that. It's about being brave enough to take them rather than battening down the hatches. This seminar looks closely at what has changed in marketing and how to take advantages of those changes." – Ann Holman, MD Clarity Projects Ltd.
Sessions are priced at £50 + VAT and further information is available from Alison Colville – iSpace Administrator acolville@marjon.ac.uk, (01752) 636700 ext.2004.
