GRADUATION 2007

Graduation 2007 DVDUCP Marjon’s 2007 Graduation Ceremony was held on the 16th November at the Plymouth Pavilions and over 500 graduates were presented with their degrees.

Peter Lord (CBE) and David Sproxton (CBE) who founded Bristol-based Aardman, one of the world’s leading model animation studios in 1972 which has since produced a string of memorable and much-loved characters including Morph, Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit were presented with honorary degrees.

Dr Floella Benjamin OBE also attend the graduation ceremony in her capacity as the Chancellor of the University of Exeter.  Floella, 57, is a broadcaster, actress, writer, producer and an active worker for the welfare, care and education of children throughout the world.
