Identification Documents

Government regulations regarding criminal records checks are now in force and the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) has been set up to provide wider access to criminal record information.  This is intended to enable organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors to make safer recruitment decisions by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable for certain work, especially that involving children or vulnerable adults.

This means that it is now necessary for all students embarking on the programme that you have chosen to obtain an enhanced CRB Disclosure before they will be allowed to commence their course.  In order to facilitate this process it is very important that you bring to your interview documents to confirm your identity.  This will enable us to countersign the CRB application form which will be sent to you once you have firmly accepted a place on the course.

Please refer to the list of appropriate documents and note that:

  • Photo ID documents must be in your current name
  • At least one address document must show your current address

Please keep a note of documents supplied for this check in order to ensure that when you complete the application form the details match.

Previously completed disclosures from other institutions cannot be accepted.

Please bring to interview the ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS PLUS PHOTOCOPIES for our retention.
