Preparation for interview

In order to prepare for the interview, all applicants for MFL are asked to:

  1. Access/read the National Curriculum for MFL

  2. Visit Ofsted website, and read the latest report on MFL: Modern languages: achievement and challenge 2007-2010

Applicants are asked prepare a 5 minute presentation based on what they feel are the main issues faced by languages teachers.  You will be expected to provide the two Tutors attending with copies of slides etc.  Applicants may also be asked to write in the first foreign language they intend to teach and may also be asked to speak in that language and/or the second foreign language they intend to teach.
