Church Colleges’ Certificate in Religious Studies
The Certificate in Religious Studies is a taught programme available on Wednesday evenings. It is open to everyone interested in studying the Christian faith in a contemporary context.
Modules on offer may include:
Church Colleges’ Certificate in Theology and Church Colleges’ Certificate in Ministry
The programme is designed if you want to take Christian theology seriously, to engage your mind, involve your heart, and apply your faith to the way you live. Its starting point is the belief that all Christians have a ministry, and that everybody should have an opportunity to reflect on Christian theology and become better informed.
The modules are open to everyone, and are studied through supported distance learning.
Currently modules on offer may include:
Part-time students:
20 credits £85
30 credits £130
Full time students:
20 credits £10
30 credits £15
Church Schools Certificate and Church School Governors Certificate students are usually preparing themselves for work in a church school.
Religious Studies, Theology and Ministry students find the Certificate useful for ministry in their churches. The Certificate is also used by some as credits for Level one, first year modules, to enable them to go on to study for a full degree.
