This 28 week (14 units) course is full time from January to July.

The course is split into approximately 40% lectures/activities; 40% practical/problem solving, with 20% independent study.
Also included on the course are visits to local companies. The course aims to give a deep knowledge of Chemistry linked to examples and activities that can be used in your teaching. Much of the course is delivered using multimedia and interactive learning activities.
The course allows you to train as a teacher on the PGCE course. Teaching is a career that makes a difference. If you feel you have the skills and abilities to inspire the next generation to be inquisitive, rational and productive members of society, then teaching is for you. Salaries start at over £20,000 for new teachers.
