QTS Undergraduate Courses

Teaching is a very popular and rewarding career.  Our BEd courses are focused on preparing you to become an outstanding teacher.  Each of the following courses lead to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), which qualifies you to become a classroom teacher.

BEd Early Years with QTS
Single Honours

BEd Primary with QTS
Single Honours

BEd Secondary Education and Mathematics with QTS
Two year Accelerated Honours course

BEd Secondary Physical Education with QTS
Single Honours

Non QTS Courses

Some students, although very interested in teaching, may want some additional flexibility in their course.  If this is you, then perhaps one of our Non QTS courses may be more appropriate.  Each of these courses provide a pathway onto a PGCE, enabling you to become a qualified teacher, but still provides you the flexibility to consider future careers outside of the classroom as well.
