Welfare & Support
International students can initially seek support from the International Office at any time. We encourage students to speak with us about any concerns they have regarding their stay in the UK. We may direct your query to the college Student Support Services if necessary.
The University College's Student Support Services provide many additional areas of support for students such as a counselling service, study skills and careers advice.
The University College has clear policies on diversity and equality which include harassment and bullying. A complaints procedure is given to all students on arrival and guidance is available from the International Office if necessary.
The University College takes reports of racist and criminal behaviour very seriously and has strong links with the local police. Any students who have been affected by such anti-social behaviour are urged to report it either themselves via the police website or with the help of the International Office.
