UCP Marjon has a variety of campus accommodation available to students. If you decide to live on campus then you will be asked to sign a Residence Agreement.
UCP Marjon provides all your bed linen and towels but you are responsible for changing the linen once a week by taking your dirty sheets to the Linen Room (open 8.00 am to 12 noon Monday to Friday) and collecting new ones. Towels can be changed regularly in the same way.
Kitchens are fully equipped with pots and pans for self-catering. The Linen Room has a supply of basic equipment if you find you need anything extra. The stoves in the Village Houses are electric. If you burn or break any of your pots and pans you will have to replace them yourself.
The noise or smell of cooking may disturb others late at night, so please be considerate, and always remember to leave the kitchen clean and tidy after use.
Out of consideration to others, all campus residents are expected to keep noise to a minimum after midnight. If you have a problem with noise or the behaviour of other residents talk to SRS (Senior Resident Student) on duty or the Night Porter in the first instance.
If you have any queries about your accommodation you can contact the International Office or the Marjon Accommodation Officer, Alison Spencer. Alison is responsible for all accommodation on campus and works closely with the Centre for International Education to ensure the smooth running of all domestic services.
