Course Description
With the ECDL / ICDL Advanced Word Processing certification, Candidates can demonstrate their ability to use the advanced features of word processing applications to enhance their work, improve productivity and save time.
Candidates with ECDL / ICDL Advanced Word Processing certified skills can:
- Create and manage large, complex word processing projects
- Illustrate sophisticated typographical, formatting and layout presentations, including tables, forms and graphics
- Use tools such as macros
- Carry out more advanced mail merge operations
- Work effectively on large collaborative projects
Examination
The exam must be taken in the Unit with an invigilator present. You are allowed up to one hour to complete the exam. Exams are sent to BCS for marking and results are emailed usually within two to three weeks. Certificates are sent to the Unit.
There is a re-sit charge of £50 per exam.
Guided Learning Hours
25-30 guided learning hours is recommended for the completion of this course.
Entry Requirements
You must possess level 2 skills, preferably at ECDL or Clait Plus level, to enrol on this course.
