Important Information regarding Secure Electronic Delivery
Opening and printing SED’s on open access college networked computers.
It is possible to open SED documents on the computers in the library computer suite, provided a few simple steps are carried out.
Adobe Digital Editions must be installed each time a user logs on to a machine.
Instructions
1. Restart the machine.
2. Logon to a machine in the usual way.
3. Before accessing email use a google search to locate ‘Adobe Digital Editions’ website.
4. Click on INSTALL and YES to download.
5. AGREE to terms.
6. Continue.
7. Dot the ‘Don’t authorize computer’ and ACTIVATE.
8. Continue
9. Finished.
10. Now go to www.bl.uk/sed and make sure you can download the test document.
11. You can now access your email account in the usual way.
Please note that you can only click on the link to the article once. You only have one opportunity to print the article so make sure you have print credits and paper in the printer.
You are not able to save the article electronically.
