The day is being organised through a partnership between University College Plymouth St Mark & St John (UCP Marjon), the Plymouth City Council Outdoor Education team and the National Trust.
The result has combined UCP Marjon’s experience and expertise in Sport (specifically Outdoor Adventure) with both the Plymouth City Council, Plymouth's Mount Batten Centre and the National Trust’s commitment to encouraging people to make greater use of the City’s green space.
Previously, the Army's 29 Commando have supported the event and have offered the use of the Citadel, an exquisite and historical military fort location overlooking the Plymouth Hoe, as part of the race attractions.
Cogs-Bikes and Forces Nutrition have also previously joined the partnership as sponsors of the race - offering a wealth of biking and sports nutrition expertise respectively. Additional thanks to LGF Marketing & PR in supporting and promoting the race.
