We are pleased to be able to now offer the community more regular open swimming sessions, as a minimum we will be offering a number regular sessions throughout the year, shown on the timetable in bold. Other slots around these regular sessions may become available and will be shown on the swimming pool timetable, especially during the Easter, Summer and Christmas University College holidays.

The timetable will be produced monthly around the 25th of the month before to confirm what sessions will be running in addition to the regular sessions. The timetable can be downloaded below or paper copies are available from the sports centre reception.

If you are interested in hiring the swimming pool for gala or team building event etc please contact the Sports Centre Manager Simon White swhite@marjon.ac.uk  bookings generally need to be made before 15th of the month before the date you are interested in, although some very limited times may be available at short notice.

There is no better way of improving your health and fitness or having fun with the family than swimming. We have totally refurbished our 25 metre swimming pool which is 1 metre deep at the shallow end and 2 metres at the deep end, and have added a family changing room to the facilities.

Children are welcome to use UCP Marjon based on the following guidelines 

Under 8’s
One adult to two children.(only one child can be under 5) Adult must be in the pool with the children, all non swimming children must have an adult in the water with them.

8 years and over
Children over 8 who can swim must have an adult on site at the sports centre who we can contact at any time 

14 years and over
14 yrs and over can swim unaccompanied

Swimming Lane
All our sessions have a swim lane for training purposes for medium to fast swimmers, when using the swim lane please make sure you allow faster swimmers to pass at the end of the lane and swim to the left of the blue line

Costs of swimming is £3.50 per adult, £2.50 per child 5-15/senior over 60, Under 5's are free
Private hire £68 per hour (plus VAT if applicable)
